Sprints every Sunday for the amateur boxing team at Apollos Boxing in Bolton! At Apollos Boxing in Bolton, we want to give all our boxers every advantage possible and make sure all our boxers are not just technically ready to box but also physically conditioned to box!
Our amateur boxing team is a young growing team and we are constantly adapting new training methods and ideas with old-school training methods! along with boxing bag work and boxing sparring, sprinting is one of the cornerstones of conditioning for boxers!
We have recently hired out a local running track for our boxers to use as a safe place to sprint rather than road running and dodging cars but it is also great for them to measure their current fitness as you can record week by week how far they are getting round the track!
These sprints are not only for our amateur boxing team they are for any member of Apollos Boxing in Bolton, so if you’re looking to get fit these sprints are a perfect way to boost your fitness to the next level!
As well as the sprints we have our amateur boxers running through a specific training program in the boxing gym including bag work, footwork drills, and sparring drills whilst also regularly getting over to other local amateur boxing gyms for more intense sparring sessions!
